The Painted Gnome
The Painted Gnome is the newest venture from your favorite gnome-run spots, Gnome Nom Nom and Gnome Garden ILM, a whimsical, hands-on studio where creativity takes center stage.
Our specialty is paint-your-own ceramics, with everything you need provided in-store. Add a weatherproof seal to turn your piece into a garden-ready planter and take your creation home the very same day, no waiting required.
Painting on your own time? We’ve got you covered with take-home kits, perfect for gifting, hosting a paint night, or tapping into your creative side from the comfort of home.
We’re open daily from 10 to 5 for walk-ins, with table reservations and after-hours events coming soon. We’re also dreaming up fun classes and collaborations to bring our gnomie community together.
You can also browse shelves filled with coloring books, art supplies, and delightfully random treasures. The Painted Gnome is all about making art feel fun, accessible, and a little bit magical for everyone.

At The Painted Gnome, all ceramics are ready to take home the very same day. We use high-quality acrylic paints, so there’s no kiln or firing process required. Each piece is designed for decorative use, with the option to add a weatherproof or high gloss sealant for extra durability and shine.
This makes it an easy, no-wait creative experience that’s perfect for out-of-town visitors, last-minute gifts, or anyone looking to make something special and take it home right away.

About The Painted Gnome
The Painted Gnome grew out of a creative partnership and a shared love for art, community, and a little bit of whimsy. What began with a mural by local artist MG ART quickly evolved into an ongoing collaboration, with MG ART now serving as artist in residence and helping shape the creative direction of the gnome universe.
As the family of gnome-themed businesses expanded, so did the vision behind them. The Painted Gnome was created as a space fully dedicated to hands-on creativity, connection, and play.
Today, it’s a bright, welcoming studio where all ages and skill levels can explore their artistic side. The goal is simple: make art feel fun, accessible, and a little bit magical.
